One need not be a sports fanatic to know the value of a great coach. There are some really remarkable coaches in the sports world. But of all the coaches that impress me the most, are the ones who are often referred to as the “turnaround coach.” The turnaround coach is the one who can take a losing, struggling program and turn it into a success.
Some more famous turnaround American football coaches would be:
Lou Holtz, Steve Spurrier, Bret Bielema and June Jones to name only a few. Each of these coaches took over losing programs and turned them into successes. Lou Holtz and Steve Spurrier accomplished that feat multiple times.
